Burke-Daniels Co., Inc. has completed our first year as the official Well Control Insurance Program Manager for the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association. Working with the Board of Directors and the administrative team of the OIPA we assembled a number of well control markets as our underwriting partners in order to provide options for every size Operator, all types of wells and every drilling program. We work with our Underwriters to provide a competitive insurance product tailored to meet members’ needs, and working with the OIPA member’s own insurance agent. We’ve written over $3MM in first year account premiums, successfully paid our first claim, and look forward to continued growth among the members of the largest Energy Industry Association in the U.S.
